like your web app but

filtering the ad is not flexible enough. If I understand right there is only one filter path possible in the webpart:

Enter the Organization Unit Path
Type in the directory path to the Organizational Unit containing the users you want to display in the Web Part

Example: MyCompany\Production. Users within the Production organizational unit from MyCompany organizational unit are displayed in the Web Part.

We would need more complex filtering (several paths or scripting : see example from "codeplex" :-) )

Examples:

(&(objectCategory=Person)(objectClass=User)(sn=*)(!userAccountControl:1.2.840.113556.1.4.803:=2)) (&(objectCategory=Person)(objectClass=User)(sn=*))

Current version supports only one organizational unit path. We'll add your request for supporting several paths to roadmap.

Your filter example is for filtering inactive accounts. In the web part there is an option "Display inactive users" (together with active ones). However we'll add option for scripting filtering to road map too.
